What is edge AI security and why does it matter?
Edge AI security runs computer vision inference locally on device (e.g. NVIDIA Jetson) rather than sending video to the cloud. This eliminates latency, protects privacy, reduces bandwidth costs, and keeps the system operational even during internet outages.
What cameras work with your AI security systems?
Our systems work with standard IP cameras (RTSP, ONVIF-compatible), USB cameras, and MIPI CSI cameras. We integrate with most major brands including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, and Reolink without requiring proprietary hardware.
How accurate is the AI detection — what about false alarms?
Detection accuracy depends on scene, lighting, and training data. For well-lit environments with custom-trained models, we typically achieve 95%+ precision. We tune sensitivity thresholds and add contextual filters to minimise false alarms for your specific environment.
Can AI security systems work without internet?
Yes. Our Jetson-based edge deployment runs entirely offline. Alerts are delivered locally (on-site dashboard, local siren) and optionally synced to cloud when connectivity is available. The detection pipeline has no cloud dependency.
