About the Company

Built by Engineers,Not Middlemen

Koca Ventures is a small, engineering-first team that builds production AI systems, embedded hardware, and security research capabilities from first principles. The founder leads technical direction on every engagement. Specialists join per project based on domain needs.

Leadership

Özgür Oğul Koca

Founder & CEO — Koca Ventures

A systems engineer based in London who founded Koca Ventures to build production-grade AI systems — not pitch decks. His work spans computer vision on NVIDIA Jetson, full-stack SaaS architecture, embedded firmware for autonomous platforms, PCB design and electronics integration, and hardware vulnerability research on customer-built machines. He has built sensor fusion pipelines coupling Benewake TF03 LiDARs with pan-tilt cameras — including boresight calibration for sub-degree angular alignment — running on Teensy 4.1 microcontrollers alongside NVIDIA Jetson edge compute.

As an NVIDIA PSIRT Advisor, he works directly with NVIDIA's product security team on vulnerability research and responsible disclosure — extending to hands-on hardware security assessment of customer-built electronics. His technical depth spans C++, C#, and Rust for firmware and real-time systems; Python for inference pipelines and backend services; React/Next.js for frontend systems; and full electronics design including PCB layout, sensor integration, and embedded communications.

Credentials & Recognition

  • NVIDIA PSIRT Advisor — hardware and software vulnerability research, responsible disclosure
  • Creator of Project Orion — deployed across 10+ hospitality locations
  • Creator of Project Vanguard — sensor fusion, LiDAR, and edge AI on NVIDIA Jetson
  • PCB design, embedded firmware (C++/C#/Rust), and hardware security research on client electronics
  • NVIDIA PSIRT Acknowledged Researcher — CVE-2026-24148 (CVSS 9.4 Critical)

Vulnerability Research

CRITICAL

CVE Identifier

CVE-2026-24148CVSS 9.4

Affected Platform

NVIDIA Jetson Xavier & Orin Series(Jetson Linux)

Weakness

CWE-1188Insecure Default Initialization of Resource

Acknowledged by NVIDIA Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) for discovering a critical vulnerability in the Jetson embedded AI platform through responsible disclosure.

How We Operate

Four Principles We Don't Negotiate On

01

First Principles

We build from first principles. If a better architecture exists, we use it — even if it means more engineering effort. We don't wrap existing APIs and call it AI.

02

Transparency

Every engagement is open about methods, trade-offs, and timelines. Clients see the architecture, the code, and the reasoning — not just a deliverable.

03

Execution

We ship working products. Engagements end with deployed code, not reports. Measurable outcomes are the only metric that matters.

04

Partnership

We embed into client operations. The best results come from understanding the business, not just the technical brief. We are a long-term partner, not a sprint vendor.

Technical Focus Areas

Where the Depth Is

01

Computer Vision

End-to-end camera inference pipelines from sensor selection through DeepStream graph configuration to production deployment. Trained on multi-camera, multi-object hospitality and security scenarios.

02

Edge AI & Sensor Fusion

NVIDIA Jetson deployment across DeepStream, TensorRT, and Isaac Sim. Sensor fusion pipelines combining LiDAR (Benewake TF03), pan-tilt cameras, and radar — with boresight calibration and Teensy 4.1 firmware for real-time control. Inference at the source, latency in milliseconds.

03

Systems Engineering

Multi-language production systems across the full stack: C++, C#, and Rust for embedded controllers and real-time firmware; Python FastAPI for backend services; TypeScript/React/Next.js for frontends; PostgreSQL for data layers. Includes PCB design and electronics integration for hardware-software co-development.

04

Security & Advisory

Security research and AI strategy for technology-led businesses — from software architecture review to hands-on hardware vulnerability assessment of customer-built electronics. NVIDIA PSIRT Advisor. Fractional CTO engagements for startups and scale-ups.

Company History

How We Got Here

01

Koca Ventures Founded

Incorporated in London with a simple mandate: build real AI products, not consultancy reports. Engineering-first from day one.

02

Project Orion Launched

Shipped and deployed across 10+ Özsüt hospitality locations. Computer vision on existing CCTV — no new hardware, measurable operational improvement from day one.

03

Project Vanguard Launched

Autonomous perimeter and vehicle-mounted intelligence platform built on NVIDIA Jetson. Multi-modal sensor fusion, real-time edge AI threat detection, and embedded control systems — deployed on commercial and industrial sites.

04

Services Expanded

Scaled beyond products to SaaS development, fractional CTO advisory, hardware security research, and AI integration engagements for clients in finance, logistics, defence, and enterprise sectors.

Founder-Led, Team-Delivered

Direct Access to Senior Technical Leadership

Every engagement starts with the founder. He leads discovery, challenges your brief, and sets the technical direction — architecture, documentation, and test foundations built right from day one. As the project moves into execution, domain specialists from our team take the lead on delivery while the founder stays close on strategy, client milestones, and the decisions that need senior judgement.
